ABOUT JUKKA VEHMAS

I am a self taught photographer. I`ve been capturing moments in the streets, events and in the studio for years now both in Finland and Europe. I always cannot explain why I captured the moment. The more important thing is that the picture pleases me visually, with it`s atmosphere and speaks to me in some kind of mysterious way. In the studio, i try ti create photos with touches of some of these: mysteriousness, different forms, strong emotions, shadows, reflections and Finnish melancholy for sure. On the street, on the other hand, I like chasing light, shadows and interesting moments. My pictures have been exhibited all over the world in exhibitions, games and magazines.
